Dominica • Citizenship by Investment Program
The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica has created a Citizenship by Investment Program to channel capital into its national development (funding schools, hospital renovations, a sports stadium, and other public sector projects). This program allows applicants to become citizens of the Commonwealth of Dominica without a residency requirement. Once Citizenship is granted, passports may be easily obtained.

Qualification
To qualify under the Citizenship by Investment Program, the following criteria must be met:
The principal applicant must be over 18 years of age.
To qualify as dependents, children must be unmarried and fully supported by the principal applicant and/or spouse:
under age 18; or
full-time students age 18-30; or
daughters age 18-25
who live with the applicant/spouse; or physically or mentally challenged children.
Dependent parents and grandparents over age 65 may apply if they are substantially supported by the applicant/spouse.
Applicants must make a one-time payment to the Government of the
Commonwealth of Dominica OR invest minimum US$ 200,000 in real estate.
Applicants must pass a Due Diligence examination, and have no criminal
record. Enhanced due diligence checks will be performed on Iranians.
An Iranian national could apply if he/she provided a detailed source of funds showing that the funds were earned in another country (and funds must be transferred from that other country).
Applicants (age 16+) must attend an interview.
Applicants must not have been denied a visa from a country with which
Dominica has a visa-waiver agreement (e.g. the Schengen area or U.K.).
Applicant must complete a medical examination.
Investment Options
The investment options for obtaining citizenship status in Dominica are as follows:
I. Economic Diversification Fund Donation
A. Single Applicant
A single applicant will be required to make an investment of US$ 100,000.
B. Main applicant and Spouse
A non-refundable contribution of US$ 150,000 will be required.
C. Main applicant, spouse, and up to 2 children
A non-refundable contribution of US$ 175,000 will be required.
D. Additional Dependents
A non-refundable contribution of US$ 25,000 per qualified dependent of the main applicant or the spouse will be required.
E. Eligible siblings 18 to 25
A non-refundable contribution of US$ 50,000 per qualified sibling will be required.
II. Real Estate Investment
Applicants must buy approved real estate in the country for at least US$ 200,000 and maintain ownership for a minimum of three years.
